si Bule China itu kemana?

ini tanggal 14.. tepatnya 10 hari yang lalu, di tahun sebelumnya...
gw jadi host family untuk exchange participant atau trainee untuk project AIESEC dr China, Beijing tepatnya...
setelah  satu tahun lamanya, gw kehilangan kontak, teringat waktu 1 tahun yg lalu, passport nya yang hilang, dan kita sama sama ngurus passport nya ke jakarta...
tiba tiba papa nyeletuk nanya:

• papa : temen allev dulu, si sophia mana nak? masi ada kabar-kabaran?
• gw    : masih setaon yg lalu, sbulan stelah dy take off ke beijing, abis itu ga ada lagi pa..
• papa : ga liat fesbuk nya lev?
• gw    :  laa, China mana punya fesbuk pa...
• papa : oo.. *manggut manggut

Akhirnya setelah perbincangan yg singkat itu, gw mutusin untuk nyari contact nya dy... gw inget, kalo setau gw China punya akun fesbuk tersendiri, yg dinamai ren ren (orang orang) , dengan bekal pengalaman les mandarin seadanya, gw bukalah itu fesbuk tiruan, beneerr.. gw ga dapat hasilnya...

ntah kesambet setan apa, sampe gw bener bener kangen ma ni bule, karena email gw pun ga pernah dibales, dan social network pun mereka ga punya, gw give up!

nah, gww inget dy sempet ngasi kartu nama ke gw, bener2 saking kangennya, gw telpon dah tu, itu nomor China....dan... Yeahhh.. itu telpon nyambuung saudara-saudara...!!!!! *lompatsenangsenang

eitz, gw masi punya pikiran sehat.., gw ga bakalan mungkin nelpon itu orang, yg jauhnya minta ampuun... Hemaaatt Bebeeb.. Hemaatt...

Do you still remember my bf? actually we had a tough year to find a nice job for him, and finally he got to Delloit, for accounting major, im sure u know it. So, we always use his email to check whether there is anoffer, and also my email gradually been forgot. hows ur day? why not come to beijing for a travel?

interview oh interview

honestly, it was the first time for me being interviewed by professional interview - being nervous is kinda usual thing for most of people. exactly, It was a week ago I was being interviewed, but the euphoria of those feelings still resound in my mind. Since it related to my future to work in International Public Accountant firms - the big four - pwc. obviously, it also relates to my future. I can't stand to think and rewind those conversations with the interviewer - asking my personality, my experience, organizations, my bad feelings, and achievements. so, the things still resound in my head now is - I don't know if I have answered in appropriate place or not - I don't know their first perspective for me is good or not - but one thing for sure, whatever the result it is, it will be the the best decision of Him for me - destiny makes plan! :)

This House Believes That Human Rights are Western Imposition

European Union Intervarsity Debate Championship benar benar mendebarkan *hallah..

the division of motion is based on taking a ballot. and let's see.. we got number 12, it means we got the most avoided motion. I swear! it was reallt difficult, chick! *middlefinger
Well, ya.. ya we have discussed it before about this motion with Kevin - the expat from US to teach our lecturer to be able speaking in english. and, This expat also trying so hard to explain what the meaning of this motion for us.. (bahasa pinternya: kita nya yang susah ngertii..)

But the show must go on, ladies and gentlemen...

Here we go, our competitor is Parahyangan University - is unfamiliar university for me obviously, since the most familiar team in debating university world in University of Indonesia - Dyota - Jonathan - and other EDS UI Community, but at the end that team really kick us of! *applause. Guys,. they are really sooo damn fucking fluently in english, debating is not explaining our arguement, but also iterpretating their idea to be catched by the judges..

Fyi, our competitor, is International Relation student year 2008, thus it must be they really so damn fluently talking abouut Human Right! It just the beggining subject for them, maybe!! Arrgghh... *Less Confidence

So, back to the motion - about THBT Human Rights are Western Imposition.
Me, my self as the first speaker frankly speaking about what the human right and imposiution means.. and relate it each other, yaa.. as well as the first speaker done for newbie debater.

Firstly, I am trying to give definion what Human Rights it is..
Human Rights are basic Right and freedoms to which all humas are entitled. Proponents of the concept usually asser that all humans are endowered with certain entitlements merely by reason of being human. Human Rights are thus received in a universalist and egalitarian style.

All Human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with Reason and conscience should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Western Imposition in Human Rights means.. it used Human Rights label to take the action over the another country, even it is wrong!. Some of the actions that taking human rights as a label to authorize or invade another country.

Thus, Human Rights discourse is a powerful and valuable tool or just another form of western imposition.
If it is Human Rights, Western do not have to put military basis in the country they help. The use of weapon also earns a question. How can we protect the Human Rights by Violating The Human Riughts itself..?? *question mark in my mind (gw sendiri juga ga ngerti) :D

That it was, the generally explanation from the first spear, me my self.., and you know ladies and gentlemen, the debater to rebut my argument is totally have power to kick us (tendang, mati de  tu gw ke jurang, sumpah benar2 mengecil di podium) *krikkrik .. then, they got big applause from almost all the audience *more less confidence - bisa ngebayangin gak tuh: (newbie debater:gw)

• proffesional debater:  ladies and gentlemen, It is National Debate Championship, what we hearing  before is just  Human Rights subject in my college.. It s just simple case that can't be related each other.. Well.. Honorable judges, what Human Rights totally definition is.... bla.. bla.. bla...  

• newbie debater:  *mengecil *lompat aja lo ke jurang sana!! :((

So, Reader, do you catch the point of Human right and Western Imposition is??? For indeed, we have have opposing opinions. or at the other side just me who really do not understand... Phew

begitu pikirku ketikaa au skali lagi mengucek-ngucek mata, memastikan kalau kita lulus seleksi paper untuk European Union Intervarsity Debate Championship Jakarta - EU IDC. Untuk memastikannya sekali lagi, mengklik link yang tertera di email tsb. yhuhuuu... lagi lagi.... aku dan tim lainnya se nasional
Apa yang patut dibanggakan? NOTHING! ya, nothing bagi mereka yang sudah berkelana di dunia perdebatan...
sedangkan aku sendiri hanya masih debater amatiran dari sma, dan masih bermimpi untuk mengikuti perlombaan bergengsi seperti.. ya jelas.. Aku bangga!

Aku dengan tim lainnya yang sudah lebih tau technical skill dr debate itu sendiri, mereka yang telah mempunyai filosofi dr topik yg akan di perdebatkan, dan mereka yang sudah biasa untuk mengabet gelar juara....
dan akupun mengecill.... *krik krik

aku berusaha mengecek nama nama mereka satu persatu dari daftar antrian pengguna facebook.. Ya Tuhan! Mereka benar2 di luar kendali ku... Travelling abroad adalah hal yang biasa, apalagi cuap cuap in english.. pengetahuan? jangan ditanya pada umumnya mereka Internal Relation Students. Dan kita, satu satu nya team dari luar pulau jawa...  O_o
